On Friday February 1, 2013, a three-day working meeting with the partners of the project Grundtvig Financial Literacy for the Roma (FINALLY) was completed. The main aim of the project is to improve financial literacy among Roma and to upgrade the understanding of a various consumer services. In addition to the partnership the Project Coordinator RIC Novo mesto involved six partners from Italy, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Greece, Serbia and Slovenia.
At the meeting, we coordinated work activities among the partners. The activities were divided into eight different work packages which are: WP1 – Project Management, WP2 – Needs research, WP3 – Development of a program Finally Trainnig Course, WP4 – Development of Finnaly Toolbox, WP5 – Pilot Implementation, WP6 – Quality assessment, WP7 – Dissemination, WP8 – Strategy and Action.
The project will develop an educational program and special teaching methods adapted to the needs of the Roma minority and focused on the acquisition of practical skills, which may contribute to the improvement of the quality of their lives.
FINALLY Grundtvig project will run until the end of October 2015.
